Don't forget about the Shackletons?

Post by Unknown74 »

Are there any plans for the Lancasters to fly over the Shackletons at either Newark or Coventry?

Newark Air Museum has not had any formal contact with the Canadian’s and we don’t have any further BBMF flypasts booked this year.

On Thursday the ‘Avro Flight’ formed over the museum and there is at least one photograph that shows the two Lancasters and the Vulcan flying over XM594.

Earlier today we got a flypast from the Vulcan – these activities are recorded in here!

Just a pity we can't get a Shack up in the air again!

It certainly is a shame - and what a sight over Newark that would have made last Thursday afternoon! :worship:
