Nimrod XV232 TAXY RUN

Post by CameronSys »

Ok,

Not for a while, but some advance notice should give people time not to let anything get in the way!

As many now know, the Nimrod Preservation Trust has been formed and now we are lucky enough to have a Nimrod runner here at Coventry!

Throughout 2014, XV232 has been performing numerous static engine runs and ruining the fence behind in the process, and it has got to the point where she will be able to taxy next year.

This is due to be on the weekend of 9th - 10th of May. I don't know anything else such as taxy route etc. but it should be good!

Thanks to the NPG for making this happen!

Will do. I suspect many shall want to go to see the taxy. It will be great to see it move. It is only through donations that things like this can take place though, so for anyone who does pop down, please donate as that will mean that 232 can taxy more often!
