Big things happened at SYAM this weekend. The panelwork needed on XL388 ha snow been completed and for the first time in over 30 years, '388 has no holes in her skin! We still have a lot of work to do, but just having all of the holes repaneled makes a huge difference and the teams spirits have lifted remarkably since hearing that there is no more riveting to be done! Check out the album in the link below and if you haven't already, check out and give the facebook page a 'like'!

Another big milestone for the team, the first part of the new coat of paint has been applied to the cockpit of '388. We have started with the rear bulkhead, and will bring photos of the rear bulkhead when completed shortly.

A hugely momentous occasion for all involved with the restoration of XL388! We have moved the cockpit onto its new, purpose built stand which greatly improves access to the inside and will allow us to step up a gear with the rest of the jobs we have to do.
