As we could shoot these hand held, without tripods, I would think 15-20 minutes would suffice. Otherwise I can see it being a mad last half hour, when the floodlights finally offer some half decent shooting light.
The plan is to park the aircraft facing the other way to how we usually do it - ie facing south-east instead of south-west. If the BBC forecast is remotely accurate, this might just reap benefits towards the end of the evening.
It's also hoped that small groups will be escorted out across the apron to obtain some dirty side-on shots as well.
