Does HHA have an F4?

I Read a while back that Hawker Hunter Aviation had an F4 Phantom, which was in Flight-Ready condition.
I was looking around there website and i cant find anything about it.
Can anyone shed some light on this please.

There is one at Scampton, yes - clicky - or just google "Scampton F4"!

I believe it's still registered as ZK848?

Thought the one at Scampton is just the spares ship and the flyer has not come across.

Don't know what HHA's intentions are, whether they are still going to bring it over or only if there is a contract requiring it.

I thought Ian G's link explained the Phantom situation.

37+89 is the spares airframe at Scampton.
38+48 is ZK848, but hasn't arrived yet.

I am sure it would have been all over the forums if ZK848 had arrived by air.

I imagine 37+89 is what has been seen (minus engines).

The SU22 it seems is still at Scampton.

Jag 636 was looking at a Hunter T7 at Scampton (for Newark) but went for one that was at Bruntingthorpe instead.

That is what I think the thread has covered so far (if I have interpreted it correctly).

Speaking to the HHA boys at RIAT...

They have acquired a 2 seat Hunter from Brazil and it is currently being shipped over at the moment, they hope to have it flying very soon (possibly PP-XHH - ex Embraer chase plane)
They also stated they 'will' have there 2nd F-4 Phantom on static at RIAT next year.
Also all aircraft will receive the Splinter Camo livery as seen on ZZ191 in the static at RIAT. (ZZ190 to recieve new livery in coming weeks)

Sorry for not being clearer, they stated the 2nd F-4 (38+48 /ZK848) will arrive from Germany very soon by air (reason for being held up is paper work) and this F-4 will be put in action straight away with the other F-4 (37+89) being used for spares etc.
The flying F-4 (38+48 /ZK848) will be at RIAT next year.

Sam (Wissam) & I was speaking to the HHA guy at RIAT either last year or the year before & he said it will be here ‘next year’, he also stated it’ll be painted black too

Fair enough the hold up has been paperwork from the Germans side but they did say it will 100% be at next year's show with the F-4 arriving by the year end, only time will tell.

The Hunter at HHA costs £4000 per fillup, the Bucc holds 12 tonnes of fuel. The only reason the Hunters are flying is that contracts exist which pays for all that. So far there is no demand for the Bucc and therefore it will not fly; if the situation changes they have the authority to fly her. Fingers crossed that the F-4 becomes suficiently economically viable to be based and used in GB.

What the HHA guys said is basically the Bucc costs five times as much per hour to operate, the Hunter is £10000 per hour with the Bucc being £50000.

Regarding the HHA Hunters, I overheard one of the employees around ZZ191 saying that the Hunters are to undergo a glass cockpit upgrade - at a cost of around £110k per aircraft. Also, considering fatigue life alone, the aircraft could fly for another 600 years (if flown at the same rate as they do now).
