RAF woodvale gate guardian change

Having seen that the Provost had disappeared before I got a chance to photograph it, passing by the other day I noticed a replacement there.

It’s now got a Hawk T.1 in the JP’s place. XX247 in ex flight condition by the looks of it.

Apologies if anyone already knew this, and i’d Be interested to find out where the JP’s gone to if anyone knows?

It's now at St Athan.....been there since September.
It's going to be the gate guardian for GJD AeroTech who recently set up shop there ( part of the same company that's at Bruntingthorpe & Kemble )
Apparently they've also got the engines off 'Black Mike' there.

That is correct. Preliminary inspections of both have started while the airframe itself is being worked on at Cosford.
