Thanks for the link, fantastic shots of a machine that's almost 50 years old - plenty of good stuff in the other photo threads too.

I was living in hope that i would get a secondment to support this, but alas it was not to be! I did take a run up but my timing was pants!

"Surly" - no, not at all. This is just one of those things that happens (about 65 miles away from where I live) when I can't get any time off work to go and see it. I've seen many of these magnificient beasts in the US in the past, so I'm not annoyed at all.
