And a Happy Birthday to both you and the Royal Air Force. I was amazingly lucky to live and work at both RAF Finningley and RAF Waddington - what a grand job!

Happy spitfire day more like,
Fed up of seeing the spitfire seemingly in everything on the news etc,
Yes the spit did good for the 5 years in ww2, what about the other 95 years, we have very little flying to
Do the 100 years any justice.

Anyway, the Spitfire can't help being the most beautiful aircraft ever built can it? :-)
