Re: Scannin
Not sure if it has changed, it's still listed as an active Swanwick frequency on the NATS website ( unless it's listed under one of the numerous updates )
Possibly the following NOTAM may explain it? :
Possibly the following NOTAM may explain it? :
B) FROM: 18/04/03 00:01
C) TO: 18/05/07 23:59
E) THERE IS A HIGH LIKELIHOOD THAT SWANWICK MIL WILL BE UNABLE TO PROVIDE ATS TO CIVIL TRAFFIC.
THE REDUCTION OF SERVICE WILL PRIMARILY HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE PROVISION OF ATS BETWEEN BHX-MOSUN, NATEB-OTR, NATEB-ADN, EGSH-OTBED, EGSH-NALAX AND EGSH-BKY.
AFFECTED CIVIL AIR TRAFFIC SHOULD PLAN AND ROUTE ACCORDINGLY, REMAINING INSIDE CONTROLLED AIRSPACE WHERE POSSIBLE

Re: Scanning
Might be out for maintenance on the transmitter. Have you tried the standby frequencies?

All of those affected routes have nothing to do with high level over London. More likely they have just switched to a non standard frequency, try listening in to the previous sector when they hand off flights you may get lucky.

Re: Scanning
There have been various publications by NATS listing frequency changes for the 8.33mhz spacing.
Not sure if they've all come into effect yet.
127.43 wasn't listed that I could find on the ones I checked...not sure what the secondary is, so don't know if that was affected by the changes ( if they've been made, that is )
