Ryanair move into Southend

Ryanair have announced plans to start flight from summer 2019 from Southend Airport.

The Ireland bassed airline will be introducing 13 new routes to 8 countries.

The new Ryanair routes from Southend Airport are to Corfu, Dublin, Venice, Milan, Faro, Alicante, Reus, Bilbao, Malaga, Palma, Kosice, Brest and Cluj.

Ryanair said they will be announcing more routes in the future.

The new routes are expected to bring an extra 1 million passengers to Southend Airport.

‪Ryanair will be operating over 55 flights per week from Southend, creating an additional 750 jobs at the airport.
