Callsign"Trenchard 7"

Post by nighthawk999 »

Does anyone please know which aircraft and pilot was using that callsign yesterday? Was it BBMF or another one in the Trenchard formation?

I was at East Midlands Aeropark with my scanner, and he came through a few times, but I didn't check which frequency he was on.Very obviously a military aircraft with the pilot talking through a face mask,as opposed to all the commercial ones active at the time.

Seven BBMF aircraft at Fairford RIAT, LDSSSHH. Dakota led the formation, but it sounded like the Lanc was on the R/T
And as the smart ship grew,
In stature, grace and hue,
In shadowy silent distance grew the iceberg too....
