RAF A400 query

Post by toom317 »

There are/have been, 3 RAF Atlas aircraft with special markings, a 70 Sqn one, the Airborne Forces one and the RAF 100 one. I've got it into my head there is another, but trawling photo sites I can't find anything. Has there been another, or has my brain cell finally given up?

The Spanish registered Airbus demo aircraft - EC400 - that flew at RIAT had an RAF100 sticker on the tail.
I believe it will become the final RAF A400M in due course.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply Rick. I saw pics of that one, but it wasn't what I was thinking of. I think I might be getting the Atlas, Herc and C17 specials all mixed up. The joys of old age.

ZM406 Had a flying blue panther on tail
ZM409 Had Airborne brigade anniversary on tail
And as mentioned it was the Airbus A400 which is scheduled to be ZM421 with the Raf 100 tail
