Morning All
Having looked on line yesterday, I saw a website about a VC-10 making a low level flypast at White Waltham in 1977 at the Silver Jubilee Airshow. I can't imagine now that a flypast of that nature could be repeated with todays rules & regulations! ( I think the Shoreham tragedy put paid to that )

I was there and it shouldn't have happened even then! Apparently when the pilot arrived back at Heathrow, he was immediately pulled up in front of the CEO. Not sure if he lost his job, but that flypast was sheer madness...and in front of HRH Prince Charles! It doesn't need H&S to tell a pilot how to perform sensibly and safely!

Wow, if that Vickers fun-bus had the undercarriage down it could have ploughed that field
