Saw this little gem intimating that 2-seat Mig31 jets are twin-stick trainers? Whilst there have been a few derivatives historically, it's just possible the back-seater was a WSO. or a trainee ballet-dancer? Just because "they were on a training flight" doesn't mean one of them was a 'trainee'

Think you’re nitpicking a bit there.

Yes, what a minor, minor thing to get angry about.

Who's angry? Just more inaccurate rubbish reporting. Rather see bare facts without the appended fabrication.

What, like loop-the-loops and stunts? The Daily Fail caters for it's audience, which, when it comes to aviation, is a 7 year old.

People actually admit that they read, sorry, look at, such papers ?
Re: Another Daily Fail Crash Report. Mig 31
Just another online pop-up that caught my eye! Do Newspapers still exist?

Only for my cod and chips
I have to admit that the only news I bother with is what I see on-line. Not read a newspaper since leaving my parents house about 30 years ago, and just go with whatever news channel is on tv or webpage I'm looking at. I do have some interest in current affairs, but I'm not that bothered from what outlet, although will always steer clear of the red-banners wherever they may be.

Spot-on for me too!

Several news agencies are reporting exactly the same 'instructor and trainee' text, including the Putin-backed 'Russia Today'. I'm pretty sure they'll have reported exactly what the Russian Military press release said.
'Appended fabrication' from the Daily Mail? Well no, not this time....

My wife sometimes picks up a free Daily Mail when she shops at Waitrose in Lymington. I certainly wouldn't pay for one!
