Re: Your 2018 Highlights
Time to display my take on things:
Pros:
- Seeing a Sea Fury fly for the first time in my life (Yes I need to get out more) at Biggin Hill
- The RAF100 flypast/RIAT RAF100 celebrations
- Don't mean to sound cheesy but joining this forum, it's really helped me out, and helped me appreciate some things more
- The weather!
Cons:
- Eastbourne being a complete washout as I went Sunday, and well... Saw the A109 but nothing else...
- Realising I recorded my RIAT films in 25fps as opposed to 50.....
Really I could say so much more good about the year but there's too many to list

Re: Your 2018 Highlights
My highlights in no particular order.
Mig 29 / Hurricane at Cosford. I love seeing stuff like this happen.
The Red Bull Helicopters at Cosford. Two very different machines but equally evocative.
The Trenchard formations at Cosford and RIAT.
The infamous Couteau Delta incident at P&V West. As well as the immaculate display.
The weather (aside from that one hour spoiler) at RIAT we were blessed with blue skies this year.
Seeing the excitement on an airshow newbies face at Cosford this year.

Re: Your 2018 Highlights
One of the aircraft powered up and blew quite a considerable number of photographers over..

Euan Buchan wrote:The Corncorde was a iconic aircraft through the 1970's right to the sad crash with a Air France flight in Paris 2000. The Corncorde sadly retired in 2003 but you can still see them at Museum of Flights across the world.
Thanks for clarifying that for me.

Are you having a laugh? He's 34 and should know very well how to spell "Concorde". He mainly only posts about stuff that has got nothing to do with aviation, but when he posts about anything aviation-related then he gets it badly wrong.
