Well im alittle annoyed to see that the French pull there Mirage out of the Waddington show but still manage to send on to Air Power!

If only Waddo and Air Power we on different days to each other we could have been seeing a MIG-29, Griphen and F-18 and maybe the Austrian Typhoon flying just some of the jets AirPower have..

But oh well SF and the team have done what they could

People on the RIAT section are saying things like
The poles have been regular supporters of RIAT, but nothing listed for them this year.... yet ! we can but hope I suppose.

Think its just speculation like for waddo really

To be fair the EC 01.012 jet also pulled out of RIAT. Air Power website doesn't or didn't mention which squadron the Mirage will be unless its changed since last time i looked.... Air Power like RIAT still have Mirage 2000 still on static just probably not from EC 01.012. A shame one of the other squadrons could be sent to Waddington though.

We look at where the RAF send their aircraft and try and work that into our discussions. Poland is one of the nations we are still waiting for a decision from.

Again, whats that got to do with RIAT?

Still seems odd that a specially painted Tiger schemed jet (presumably thats the one SF & RIAT were obviously after) is going to war.... As said, I'll be very interested to see what turns up in Austria and Belgium...

I am merely making an observation that both Waddington and RIAT have not been informed of any potential participation from Poland. Should RIAT have been advised then I would assume (rightly or wrongfully) that their schedule was complete and Waddington may have missed out......as of now neither Airshow has indicated yes or no therefore there is still a glimmer of hope I suppose

Hope that clarifies.......

No French mirage 2000 and Danish F16 at the Belgian Airshow. Cancelled due to operations in Lybia. So I thing Austria and the UK wouldn't see them either

That has been an update as the erj has been cancelled today 20th June and replaced by the F-16 tiger meet, quite a nice addition. :yahoo: Only seen two or three tiger meets.

On the Flying List the Apache is put down as (f) (TBC).
Does this mean it has still to be fully confirmed or does this state the Squadron is yet to be confirmed?

Silent Flight, please book the Sea Vixen!!!

thanks,

I think there is only one squadron, so I'd imagine its the display still to be confirmed.
