I've just had a shuft Chris, marvellous piccies of the team, anyway, I noticed they are on the schedule for Leuchars on 11th September and Leeuwarden the following week! :yahoo:

Also Kemble, RIAT and Culdrose. Only query here is, for these three venues, they appear to be using this year's dates? Otherwise, Waddington, Leuchars and the rest seem to be on the dates expected for 2011. They're doing a lot of overseas stuff next year I notice.

Yes, 5 flying Hunters.

Routine just finalised.
Lots of shapes changes, a syncro pair and a solo as well as the usual 5 ship aeros.
And of course, a Blue Note Pass !

Will be good to see Sally B outside of Duxford! As boff says, a US theme for this years Waddo perhaps?

No particular theme to do with the US at all.

2011 theme is Air Power; Past, Present and Future!

Sally B Flypast could be a possibility, we will see what is said on Monday!

Will you know what the Royal Flying Club are going to be fielding this year on Monday?

Hopefully the defence cuts and other commitments wont have much affect on this years show and we have another excellent show this year would be nice to see the b-17 would be even better to see either a B-52 or B1-B or both in the flying display.
I would also like to see a C-17 doing a display

We have a rough idea as to what the RAF will be providing this year, but nothing has been confirmed. The meeting on Monday is purely T-Bird niff and triv!

Hi Silentflight
Just a question i have noticed there is going to be no Swiss participation (according to the offical website for the Swiss airforce) Again.
The Swiss used to be regular visitors in the early days of the show, Have we upset the "S" teams Swiss, Spanish, Swedish and Slovakian teams all used to come on a regular basis. But feel congratulations are in order for getting the Thunderbirds. :yahoo:

I dont think we have upset them, if we have they havent told us!

Most of the time it is a case of a date clash, certainly the case with the Swiss for the last couple of years. Participation used to be good from them and the Spanish, particularly in the days of the ACMI range, when they were regular visitors to Waddington. Many countries limit the number of displays either static or flying that squadrons can do each year, this is very limited in terms of international appearences and it is exactly the same for RAF assets too.

There are various issues that are addressed, such as the value and need to visit one country and not another, then which event would take priority. Then of course the biggest issue of the time the cost.

I have only had one letter back saying that a nation is not coming as yet, many decisions will not be made for sometime, the earliest we can start to put the bigger picture together will be towards the back end of March - Early April.

Hi Silentflight
Thank you for the reply this has put me and many others in the picture. As for the reasons that there is no Swiss participation we shall now await for the spring for an update.
Hopefully i have the sunshine booked for July   BRING IT ON
