Spoke to owner Tony deBruyn at Abingdon on Saturday and asked the same question after his excellent display with the Bronco in the afternoon and he disappointedly said 'because Neil doesn't want me to' !!! Not quite sure what the reason was, but perhaps all slots were filled.

Thats B*ll*cks............ ha ha... no the Broncos an expensive item for display which is fair enough, but Tony wanted to practice on Sat under his own steam / money as such, guessing a chance to practice at a new location. A display slot was offered (at the time of the poss Dakota situation on/off leading up to the event), but 'logistically' it was unviable in Tonys eyes which again, is fair enough. But a bonus for us staff as a kinda private show which was richly deserved to us. AAC Lynx i knew about weeks ago but generally had to keep under wraps and was bloody good aswell :) glad those of you who came enjoyed theshow - we still on clear up til tuesday - King Airs out at 8am, Tucanos / Tutor unsure, PC7 & Beagle 206 (both very low take offs ) left early this morning... all the rest left yesterday.

Thank you to everyone at Abingdon for what was a great event yesterday. A really enjoyable day out with plenty to see and do both in the air and on the ground.

This was only the second time I've attended and yet noticed that there was much more there than last year! Praise must be given to all of you for putting on a varied show despite these harsh economic times. It's all for such a great cause and I hope you've managed to raise a good amount of money for the Air Ambulance, a reward for your hard work.

All the best and I look forward to Abingdon 2012!!

Tremendous show. All the team's efforts were greatly appreciated. Any airshow in these rotten times must be a challenge but huge respect for pulling off another triumph.

£8,600 donated (After bills paid & a chunk kept back for 2013) to Thames Valley Air Ambulance Trust, thats £31,100 to Air Ambulance since 2007 & a further £14,000 donated to Helen / Douglas House in Oxford from the shows 2001 - 06 - so a total of £45,100 given to charity from our show!

Thanks. I had that figure in my head when I made the original post but I'm not sure where I got it from.
