N-reg & American Classics
To coincide with the Silverstone Classic motor racing event Turweston is holding a two-day flyin on 21st and 22nd July.

Whether flying a Queen Air or Cirrus on the 'N' or a Luscombe, C120 or similar on the 'G' we are hoping to attract a lot of aircraft over the weekend.
With over 800 N-reg aircraft in the UK alone this should be a great event!

With extended hours and a hot summer forecast we will be having a barbecue on the Saturday evening. There is also the option of camping under-wing. Check our website for details.

As an added bonus remember Turweston is outside the Olympic airspace restricted areas so will be much easier to get to than other airfields in the south of the country.

From Aeronca to Waco - Turweston will be the place to go in July.

A very good turn out over the weekend with all sorts attending, from Dornier and Navion on the N-reg and Cubs, 120's, Luscombes and Vargas on the G-.
I only managed to take a few but you can get the idea. The Dornier was on its first outing on the N-reg (previously G-ASUR) and somebody told me the Cub only had 10 hours on it since restoration - it looked immaculate.
