Would be amazing if the GR4s could join up for a flypast with 558. Or even if they could lend 558 some of their pyros for a bombing run.

Might have to get on the dog and bone to the organisers and do my best Mrs Doyle impression. Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on.

I wouldn't want to pressure the organisers into doing something like this as obviously at this late stage it would push their budgets that little bit further than perhaps they planned. However, I do think some of the small to medium sized shows around the country need to consider things like unique flypasts/bomb runs etc to set themselves apart from other shows of the same size. I've seen a lot of comments on this and other forums about how a lot of shows tend to have near identical lineups, so having that little extra selling point would be a massive boost to the show's appeal. Take the Victory show at Cosby a few years ago. It was a relatively small show, but as soon as word got out that 558 would be doing a simulated bombing run it turned a standard display into a unique must see opportunity.

I seem to recall for the 2010 show there was to be a Red Arrows and BBMF joint flypast.

Parking is pretty straightforward depending on what entrance you arrive from, either the A27 or the A259 It does get busy when everyone leaves but you are only able to exit one direction, and if you allow plenty of time fro the traffic to die down it is very painless.

If you arrive from the A27 you park on the airfield if you come from the A259 then you park on the recreation ground then its only a short walk to the airport.
