HMS Daring arrival flypast

had and e-mail for the arrival of Hms Daring the newest ship for the royal navy and their is a flypast

Start date/time: 28/01/2009 13:05 UTC
End date/time: 28/01/2009 13:35 UTC
Activity period: null
Lower height limit: 000
Upper height limit: 020

FLYPASTS BY MIL HEL AND ACFT AT 5047N 00106W
(PORTSMOUTH HARBOUR ENTRANCE, HANTS). PRIOR TO FLYPAST ACFT WILL
HOLD IN EG D037. AFTER FLYPAST 1 ACFT WILL CLIMB TO THE WEST AND 2
FAST JET ACFT WILL RETURN TO EG D037.
AUS 09-01-0050/AS1


dont know what aircraft any help ?

Purely speculation andy, but looking at the Royal Navy website the Daring is affiliated to 11SQN , so possibly Typhoons, only other idea i have would be NSW Harriers.
As i say i have no news on this and i'm just guessing.

Was hoping some1 woiud say Harriers as that would atleast mean 2 movements next Wed from Cott:D

Hi Andy,

I'm looking forward to seeing Daring for the first time. If the sun's out though, Gosport looks on the cards although, I can't think of anywhere decent to view the grand entrance on that side of the harbour!!

Thanks SB, i'm guessing a 1 big 2 small type formation with the F/Js.
