As a tribute do we get to scrap and burn something perfectly good on the airfield?

You’re not the first to suggest that and perhaps not the last – but H&S precludes this type of gathering!

Plus these loaned items are far too precious for such escapades!

Earlier today saw the Brooklands Museum’s TSR2 cockpit section delivered to the museum; details in here! A couple of photographs have also been added in here! The cockpit was spotted on the M1 by at least one editor of an aviation magazine, so that may explain what others may have seen.

A few minor changes for tomorrows event have been added in here!.

Plus we can advise that following an appropriate Risk Assessment there will be public viewing opportunities for the rear cockpit area of the TSR2 cockpit.

As a special note – no lecture tickets have been sold in advance; they will only be on sale on Saturday once people have been admitted to the museum.
