Throckmorton Airshow 6th June 2015
Re: Throckmorton Airshow 6th June 2015
If a show sells out of tickets, there must be NO exceptions where people are let in without a ticket on the day. Throckmorton appeared to lose control somewhat, so we'll probably never know the proportion of genuine ticket holders compared to those paying on the day - but regardless, it sends out the message to all those who did get in without a ticket that they can do the same in future - ignore the warnings, not have to buy a ticket in advance and just turn up on the gate. Worse still, they could create traffic problems at other more stringent advanced ticket only shows (e.g. Cosford, RIAT) if they assume all airshows operate like this.

Seriously...Who gets out of their car in traffic, lifts the bonnet and pisses all over the engine....

Treat your paying customers (who weren't able to get in or claim a refund) like you did last year and they will never come back - no surprise tickets sales were slow.
