Compton Abbas Royal Naval Historic Flight Day

Post by AMB »

On Saturday 9th of May, Compton Abbas will make their best efforts to raise money for the RNHF - with your help!

The Historic Flight is a living memorial to all those who have served in the Royal Navy Air Service and Fleet Air Arm since 1909. It is an educational charity with the aim of preserving the opportunity for future generations to best understand the nature of those who built, maintained, operated and fought in Naval aircraft of the past by experiencing the reality of the sound, smell and sight of them actually flying.

It is expected that some of the RNHF aircraft will be in attendance as well as Wasp XT787/G-KAXT and other aircraft will fly-in.

See you there.

Good day out -a brand new Wildcat ZZ397 turned up, only delivered two weeks ago apparently, flew together with the Wasp . Also RNHF Harvard and Chipmunk gave a demo.

Sounds great, that Wildcat Wasp combo sounds a treat.
