Vampire Preservation group open day

Hi
Just thought id let you know the VPG are holding there open day this saturday at north weald. The vampire will fly at 3 and the event finish around 7 with a few other things thrown in and a chance to see the only airworthy vampire t.11 up close in the uk.

Yep Ill be there - along with a few other cadets!

If anyone wants to come say hi, look for the stressed out Cadet FS with a white lens :grin:

Mr angry, Its your call really.
507 will be flying at 3ish and before that we will be getting her ready for her flight.

You can arrive before and hang around the squardon area. The squardon have a naffi style restraunt and you can sit outside and watch aircraft movements.
The apron where 507 is based is out of bounds to the public as well as all the hangars as they are all private property.

Ahaha im an ex air cadet but didnt get to high up. I tend to do more for the ATC now and link them out with local places and people with an aviation connection.

Well i shall be the spikey haired lad/kid (17 so i dont know what that makes me lol) in the green overalls looking a bit lost near 507 as its my first open day with her.

Come over and say hi at some point.

And dont forget the photograhpic competition for 2009 - You could win a flight in 507 so tomorrow should be a good chance.
