St Kendrews Barracks (RAF Cottesmore) Open day

Hi all,

Not sure if posted on here already but on Saturday 21st May St Kendrew's Barracks (Ex RAF Cottesmore) is holding a open day which is completely free.

Red Arrows and BBMF will make an appearance of some sort (most likely be flypasts) some worth attending for free!

Thanks for the heads-up, it will be interesting to see how the place has changed too, I did the Tornado courses there twice (GR and F3), 4 months of exams, exams, and more exams!

Website says 21st not 28th? Seems a little odd that this is worded as a public display yet it is not advertised on the Reds website. A late addition to their schedule?

Hope to hear some further information about this event over the coming weeks - weather permitting it might be tempting - Cottesmore was my first ever airshow venue and it'd be lovely to go back. Like capercaillie says, assuming there'll be Italian F-104s, Ukranian Tu-22 etc?
