There should be some interesting aircraft on static display including the Lightning, Electroflight P1e, DH Tiger Moth, Auster J5 Aiglet and Cranfield aircraft including the Bulldog, Firefly, Jetstream 31, Cranfield A1, and Boeing 737-400.

There are also some super raffle prizes including airline and simulator flights flights.

The very same. Believe it now sports a slightly odd-looking canopy, possible other mods and a different scheme but still great that it'll be on show this weekend.

Well what a good little line up for the flying display, should be some good static stuff also,
throw in the cars and other exhibits plus free funfair for kids, all for the sum of £12 for an adult kids no charge.
No parking fee.

decent event at a realistic price for a family day out. Well done Cranfield.

HAC Hurricane is on its way to Poland to take part in a film and the Yak-3 doubtful as it had a problem during the air show and still at Duxford.

The odd-looking canopy is due to the aircraft having been converted to a two-seater, I believe around 1998. The aircraft was re-registered G-COAI at the same time.

Believe the Spitfire T9 listed, ML407, suffered a landing accident yesterday, can't see it making Cranfield

Eek! well who'd have thought it was still around, and lets be honest it was never the most elegant looking beast in the first place. Not sure where this 'Eagle' thing has come from either, it was only ever the Cranfield A1 as far as I can remember.

A quick trawl through some ancient scans has thrown this up, taken at Finningley.. apols for the lack of quality
