Also perhaps worth reminding people you get (at least) a 747, VC-10, Sea Hawk and Hunter on static display, which you're not going to get at any other airshows this year I shouldn't think!

If you like your jumbos with Buffesque power plants... I have seen more authentic inflatable 747s in beach cafes!

Pardon me but there's a couple of Hunters at Cosford every day of the year isn't there?

The 747 has different engines because it was used for filming in the James Bond movie 'Casino Royale'. They removed and replaced the engines to give it a futuristic image specifically for the film.

Fair point about Cosford, they might have a couple of decent static display items I guess! :-o

RN Wildcat on static, the Tigers Parachute team for both days and the RAF Chinook display on the Saturday only.

The VC-10 is doing a taxi run on the Sunday only it would seem at 9.30, flying both days is 1130 - 1400 and 1500 - 1700, followed by 'aircraft departures'.

Also, if you like your wheels as well as your wings, there's this lot:

The Blades
Pitts - Richard Goodwin

Gyrocopter
