Anybody heard if there is to be a enclosure for arrivals day? I enjoyed last year, despite the rain.

Hopefully it can build on the success of last year. Was really enjoyable!

Sadly not the most accurate poster ever. The Spitfire looks like it's been Photoshopped to have three blades (which are remarkably short), but then appears to have an extra blade sprouting out! Also the Red Arrows formation in the background looks to be an old photo, with the aircraft having the plain tails before they adopted the Union Flag tail!

OK I will comment also.... why the wide tracking on the BIGGIN HILL type? Not nice. Also The Reds never all trail blue smoke at once!

From a communicatinos/PR perspective, I really like it.

As an aviation enthusiast, I didn't notice the prop issue - although now I've seen it it's really bloody annoying - and I like the use of smoke to make up the tricolour roundel.

Me thinks they've been a bit lazy in the poster design department this year.

Guys ...does it really honestly matter in the scheme of things ,really,if this gets your goat then simply look away.
Instead of knocking it and critizing in an instant why not simply think ,great another show to attend , much to much pessimism in this country !

AARDVARK, pessimism is a good well established British quality, because it's usually right! But I guess you are also right if its being applied to a poster! poster could be worse though, it could be Alexandra Burke...

Strangely not on the Typhoon calendar although I presume it will operate out of Biggin for Eastbourne.

So let me get this right....you're berating Biggin Hill for using their 100th anniversary image for their RAF 100th Biggin Hill image with the addition of the roundel being formed in the background (hence the blue smoke). Good continuity as far as I'm concerned.

Don't forget, the NEW Biggin Hill air show isn't for the #AVGEEK fraternity, it's for families that want a day out and couldn't care less if the Spitfire had 3, 5 or 10 blades

Whoever Biggin Hill is supposed to be for, it was one of the highlights of last year for me with the Hind and Hip in attendance.

Hi all, is there going to be any access to the airfield on arrivals day like last year? Despite the rubbish weather I thought it was an excellent day without the crowds
