That's a shame on both accounts! So if the SIAF is the same weekend as Radom, seems strange that the Slovak L-39 is at Radom...

What's the status with the Polish F-16 demo that was rumoured a couple of months ago? Will there be a solo at Radom?

Yep - no Polish F-16 demo this year...Due to operational circumstances...

On June 24 the SPOTTERS PACK rules will be announced. The accreditation itself will start on July 1, 2011.
From their Facebook feed :)

Now all I have to do is find a place to stay, seriously thinking about going with the 4Aviation guys, anyone have any experience with them?

I was thinking about it, if any of those NN on Russia, Romania or Ukraine changed to Y, but would fly from Rygge to Krakow and drive.

Are you Norwegian as well John?

Actually I think the flying programme is great even if the Russians or Ukrainians decide not to show. Su-22, MiG-29, Polish and Greek F-16s are more than good enough reasons for me to take a trip to Poland in august ;)

Of course I keep my fingers crossed that some of the unconfirmed participants will be there as well, but even if they dont Im sure its going to be a great show :)

No I am English but live about 100kms south of Rygge in Sweden and use the airport quite often.

I agree it looks good anyway but I have a long haul flight shortly after the show and I have to get back to Sweden then onto London before that flight which makes it all a bit rushed. However if the Russians or Ukrainians went I may try it. If it was not for that long haul flight I would definitely go. Are you going to RIAT?

Ah I see, I live right next to Rygge, so I use it quite often as well ;)

No RIAT for me this year, its hard enough to convince my girlfriend to come with me to one show, so Radom it is :P

Anyone got any more information regarding participants? Been a while since anything was added, but the Greek Viper, Hungarian Gripen, Lithuanian C-27J, Czechs and all of them Polish goodies are fantastic, just wondering if there was anything else?

Anymore news on this? Me and brother may go but its quite a lot to shell out for us. So any info on the Russians and Ukrainians would be very welcome! Also seeing as it is a getting towards a bit last minute, and this would be our first overseas show any tips/ suggestions on travel in Poland or accommodation over the weekend would also be welcomed.

Thanks

The Ukrainians are confirmed with Su-24M, Su-25UB and An-32 on the Polish version of the website :)

We'll be staying here, it was the only place close to Radom that still had vacancies when we booked, not sure if they still do, but you could try contacting them.

The only one that's been doing the rounds this year has been the Swiss demo! The Spanish haven't appeared at any show with an EF-18, same with the Finnish!

The Spanish Air Force aren't providing any solo demos this year due to budgetary constraints.
The Finnish Air Force has displayed at a couple of Scandinavian locations.
