I wish you luck to get the Typhoon, but I guess the "display" at Piestany will be a short overflight. And it is nearly in Austria! :D

Spotters packs for Radom can now be ordered - they cost 300PLN and there are 70 of them. You can order those through the form on http://www.airshow.sp.mil.pl/index.php/ ... tters-pack

As for the contents of the pack (it is not translated on the official page):
• Entrance on field of the airshow during arrivals and rehersals
• media sectors access
• press center access (Internet connection, PCs, power access)
• static display entrance
• access to the airplanes on parking
• access to the pilots
• ability to put a named gallery on an official website after the show
• Access to folders and promotional papers

Thankyou Wally_as. When completing this form, is there a difference between sending the information to the press centre at Radom or the Polish AF HQ Warsaw?

Does this spotters pack also include access to the other side of the runway? I know it has been mentioned before, but it isnt repeated in the new list of information.

Thanks
Tim

I don't know about the access to the runway's other side, it's mentioned nowhere. As for sending the form: it's not where you send the accreditation form, but where you're going to pick it up. So if you won't be in Warsaw prior to the show you should choose Radom.

Hello Wally_as, thank you for all your valuable information. This is the first year I am going to the Radom air show. I remember reading some time ago that the planes used to arrive to the base on Friday but I have just watched in the official website that the spotters will have acces to the base on Thursday the 27th to see the planes arrival.

Do you know if they arrive both days, Thursday and Friday, or Friday is only for practises?

Thanks you for your help.

Kind regards.

Alberto

Hi,
They arrive on both Thursday and Friday, plus practise the very same days. Usually, it was like planes from further away were arriving Thursday and planes located closer to Poland (Slovakia, Germany, Czech Rep.) and local ones from Poland got to the spot on Friday.

No A10 mentioned in schedule. I wonder if they made a mistake on the Radom page?

2x A10 will be static only :( as well as Su-24, Il-76 and Typhoon. Polish website is updated more often than English.

I read in a magazine the other day that there should be a recently restored MiG-15 (or the Polish built version) flying at the show.

Lim-2 (Polish version of MiG-15) is indeed in restoration by polish foundation "Polskie Orły" (Polish Eagles), however I strongly doubt they will make it to Radom. During Goraszka picnic early June (organized by a foundation) the plane was only taxiing on a runway, and there is no info as the process of certifying it to fly has begun.
More probable (although in my opinion strongly doubtful) is participation of Strizhi AT - the two strong "fors" are a visit of PM Putin in Poland to celebrate 60th anniversary of WWII operations, and a fact, that Aviator - russian manufacturer of watches and a sponsor of Strizhi team - is a partner at Radom Air Show. But again, I doubt the fact they will visit us...

Website still suggests that only the Flanker is flying, Fencer and Candid static.....unless you count their flight across that border!

It helps, if you have a good relationship with your neighbours... Up to recently we could only dream about such visit, and now look:Belarus is coming, Strizhi are negotiating. Life is too beautiful :)

Can someone please post an up to date list of what is actually flying?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

http://www.airshow.sp.mil.pl/index.php/ ... am-pokazow - check this site for up to date list. Unfortunately, EN version is a little behind but you can use the two to compare. There also is a chance for some other attractions, but nothing confirmed yet.
