I can't quite work out the map on the website - do you know what the red line denotes - where is the crowd line?
thanks a lot

Unfortunatley the sun will be in front of you most of the time, BUT you´re probably going to stand very near the intersection of two crossing runways, which means that the displaying aircrafts not just fly past in a straight line. Instead most of them will go in a kind of a long turn and therefore on two sides of you. Also last time (2010) the crowd line was very very near the runways (maximum of 45m). It´s probably even closer than at RIAT.

The red dotted lines are probably crowd barriers.
Gripenfury wrote:There are acctually two official websites as the airshow is both the finale of the aerospace forum and the swedish air force main airshow.
Aerospace forums own (http://www.eventregistrering.se/afs_attendees/index.php) has been updated sooner and have been better in my opinion.
The other is the Swedish armed forces website. It´s only on that one that the magazine and the spotter details have been released. (http://www.forsvarsmakten.se/sv/Aktuellt/Ovningar/Forsvarsmaktens-flygdag-2012/)
Unfortunatley it´s only in swedish.
Gripenfury wrote:I just linked to the main site, you need to click your way to "spotters" or use this link http://www.forsvarsmakten.se/sv/Aktuellt/Ovningar/Forsvarsmaktens-flygdag-2012/Spotters/
