Shame, any reason why?

I keep getting nagged about going to this show by a certain person  . Don't get me wrong I desperately want to go but I need to get the money together. Looks bloody fantastic so far!

Has anyone an email address to contact the spotters day organisers? Have registered and bank confirm money paid but I have received no validation number.

Blimey, it gets better!
I just hope the cancellation of the Aguila doesn't mean we'll get more withdrawals.
Fulcrum and Fitters especially.

Just hope to see them all touch down at the base on the Friday.

Wondering if the BUFF coming to Fairford could be tempted into the air, if florennes is getting one.

Unfortunately no Ukrainian Su-27 this year and no Luftwaffe F-4F for the show.

Apparently, they're possibly working at either a Polish MiG 29 or F-16 for static display. Also, a Tornado has confirmed from Buchel.

Lastly, if Patrulla Aguila do cancel, again POSSIBLY they are looking at getting the Patrouille De France.

Again, all rumours. Nothing set in stone. Info from airshows.be.

But Evreux is only a one day show now isn't it - so they could do the Saturday at Florry, unless theres a non-public event at Evreux on Sat??

entraînement = rehearsal at Evreux. Display at Florennes without training? Sure! ;-)

He did state clearly "rumours". The guy (we know him personally) is close to the 'action'. That means there are likely to be informal contacts at the moment to determine the feasibility. Patrouille de France has been known to rehearse at one venue several days before the show, then go off elsewhere to rehearse and perform there and then return to the location where they were days ago just to display. Nothing new there. Informal contacts would not be listed on a website of course, and they may come to nothing. There's no harm in pulling some strings. If anything, we should be happy they are at least trying to get something over instead of Aguila, even if it is on the optimistic side and may come to nothing

Okay. I'm sure they've had plenty of training these guys, though they could practice at Florry Friday or even Thursday prior... No big deal, not a deal breaker for me if they turn up or not!...

Well, compare it to the "SU-27 participation"... It would be better to keep this information, otherwise people could think it was never planned... :butt:

Actually, I sort of agree on this, it seems difficult for people to distinguish between the different levels of certainty and then they are disappointed when invitees or 'half-confirmeds' don't show up. Just last week, I was talking to a group of spotters from a certain southern European country who are all convinced that Batajnica will have Chinese J-10s, are going there for that very reason and wouldn't have it that the list they saw was a mere invitation list. Are they in for a shock!

And according to our source at airshows.be no B-52 confirmed at the moment, there was only talk about it. (you can also see this in the Yeovilton topic, they were also planning for it) He also doesn't seem too hopeful getting additional fast jets in the static park.

I was looking at the spotters package and suprised to find it still open - does anyone have any experience of the spotters location with respect to sun and views etc.
They are allowing 500 spotters which seems a big number
Comments welcome
