Not in the same league as Florennes but not too bad though

2 Migs 29s
F-35
Spanish Typhoon
Mil 24

Now how does that compare to the RAF's show this year?

You really can't compare Florennes with Leeuwarden just looking at the participants.
At Leeuwarden you can photograph the show with a 300-400mm lens fullframe with only green grass in front, at Florennes you need at least between 500-600mm full frame and with a lot of rough terrain in front of you.
Static at Leeuwarden is for 80% good to photograph, Static at Florennes is terrible with people walking around all planes (just like RIAT).
Entrance fee at Leeuwarden is zero, at Florennes you pay i believe 15 euro

Was a very enjoyable day today, albeit sticking a solo Mustang on right at the end was highly bizarre. I ended up actually feeling a bit sorry for the pilot, a beautiful machine immaculately flown, but a definite feeling of 'after the Lord Mayor's show' given that he had to follow the Frecce, who should really have been the climax to the day's flying.

BTW that Slovak MiG-29... ooft. Pilot absolutely flies the arse off it. We're in for a treat at RIAT in a few weeks.

Looking forward to tomorrow, sadly the forecast is a bit naff with 10/10 cloud and occasional rain.

Glad you had a good day. Hope tomorrow is OK despite the forcecast!

That Slovak Mig display is stunning. Cannot wait to see it at RIAT. really aggressive.I also enjoyed the Turkish Stars. Never seen them before. A good stream to watch.

No Cobras, no tailslides, just a thunderous demonstration of raw power and agility. I suspect that at RIAT he won't be allowed to keep it quite as close to the crowd as he did at Leeu...!

Stonking show, IMHO puts UK shows to shame

Great participation, terrific display, awesome participation from Dutch AF.

Very photographable static, no stupid blue and white cones. Very long display line, not cluttered with special enclosures for the rich and famous.

Very affordable food and drink. Dozens of stalls and side entertainment nearly all aviation related and lots to interest the kids. No tat.

Management of access of 100,000 people per day superb
