I found the following statement a bit ambiguous regarding the date of the Open House due to the words "following weekend" - is it 21/22nd or 28/29th.
Am I being a bit pedantic ?

On Friday, 20th May 2016 they intend to host a spotters day
during the following weekend an Open House is on their agenda

I must admit I read it as the following weekend i.e 28-29th myself. Perhaps they do mean the weekend following the spotters day, that would be a bonus and quite a birthday treat! :king:

Someone had better tell Ian Allan Tours about the date for the spotters day then, they are going out on the 24th-29th... https://www.facebook.com/IanAllanAvationTours/posts/957823850959366

Does anyone know (or able to make an educated guess) if they'll be using the southside apron for NTM operations? If so it makes the spotters day and airshow very appealing but if they're operating from the northside (where the passenger terminal is) it'll be backlit all day so much less appealing.

Was wondering exactly the same thing! From shots/footage of previous events, they've used South side with the Herc apron in the background

Yes i got this too, but then immediately below it is a message that my registration was in 'good order' and to to print off that and bring it along. My guess is that the registration details have been logged but there is a bug at their end in sending out confirmation emails, hopefully they will fix the issue in due course.

This may be a silly question but can anybody tell me whether the Open House following the NTM Spotters' Day is just on the Saturday or is it a two day event? I have been searching online without success for details such as timing, participants etc.

Any assistance will be very gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

All sorted, will leave car and hotels up to you!

Really looking forward to it although not entirely sure what the Open House will actually entail. Good to get to something decent so early on in the season.

Looks like it will be busy - I estimate about 1300+ on the spotters list (14 pages at 96 names per page). Hope they have given us enough space otherwise we could be six deep at the fence.

Bloody hell... best NTM line-up I can remember for a long time. Wish I was doing this, but you can't get to everything.
Posting comments on an aviation-related chatroom, are ya? Looks like it an' all...

One of everything in the fleet on static and in the flying display, as seen at Torrejón in 2014, would do nicely wouldn't it..? :heyhey:
