"The air show at the event 'Volkel in the clouds' does not go through this year. The safety inspection of the Ministry is not safe enough will find the site and therefore does not grant permission."

I wonder what has changed from the last show? I presume the Dutch wouldn't be effected directly by our CAA rule changes but they (or any other countries) adopted similar changes post Shoreham which may be having an effect? Or could this be in response to the attacks in Paris and Brussels?

'Volkel in de Wolken' is a fair near the town of Volkel - not on the base! - with a very small airshow. Usually an F-16 and Apache can be seen and some civilian stuff. The show is declared unsafe because the field is too small. Nothing has changed since last year, except the rules.
