Tiger Meet 2017 - BAN Landivisiau

Post by Dr Cake »

Dates are Monday 5th June until Friday 16th June. Six Rafale Ms from Flotille 11F already on the list. No surprise there.

Hope to get there!

ps. NTA corrected their spelling mistake so have I.

Indeed, wish it was in May again though, could be back to back weekends with Volkel.

If only it could have been there this year - give the lovely old SuE a decent send off...
On the basis of the last Landivisiau bash then yes, I will be getting myself close to a French Brest..

Meanwhile over at scramble, to downplay expectations:
Dates are 5-16 June. 11F gave us an initial briefing in Zaragosa. No word at all about an airshow or a spottersday. Please, please don't bother them at the Base on these questions; June is a long way away. The NTA site, or our FB page should, repeat should, have the first glimmer of news on these events. We do know that it will be a smaller operational meet than Zara due to acft parking limitations.
Info coming from the NTA.
A weather forecast is a forecast and just that

Well in 2008 they managed to cram in 70 meet aeroplanes, bolstered to 150 for the Sunday show! Zaragoza saw around 90 a/c directly for the meet but that place is just silly - you could probably get 4 Landivsiaus in the 2 bases at Zara with room to spare!
