A shame Scat VII is static only, but it's looking like a very nice line up.

Do you usually get visiting An-2's on the weekend? I can remember seeing them in photo's last year, but I can't remember if they were just visiting, or down for static..

In recent years a yellow and blue An-2 has offered pleasure flights over the weekend, but this doesn't seem to be scheduled to do so this time round.

Provisional programme here;

No Rafale M either. Got to say, I'm tempted to just do the one day.

The Marine Rofles are still on the table, just not yet confirmed apparently. Still a great list, Brisfit and Spad too :yahoo:

Not too disappointed the Swiss Hornet isn't on the list anymore. The Marine Nationale contingent looks excellent again - love the Alize and Atlantic, and great to see the Transall back again.

If you 'follow' the team on Farcebook you'll be aware of the issues they've been having with weather in the Payerne area, which has knocked his practice schedule into a cocked hat. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up scrubbing a few more appearances in the early part of the display season... they're probably a good couple of weeks behind schedule.

Ah okay, unavoidable then. Still it's a shame, I've almost forgotten what flares at an airshow look like.

Understandable but bizarre - surely he could have decanted to another base to work up? I imagine the teams are up to speed??

Some additions yesterday:
  • Hawk 75 (Saturday only)
  • a second T-28
  • a Cessna 337
  • 2 Fouga Magister (Pen Duick flight - never heard of)
  • 1 Bréguet XIV
:yahoo:

About the scanner, there is nothing said on the official website.
Anyway, nothing is said about anything : no do's or don'ts on gabizos, stepladders, picnic table, dress code, campfire, alcool, smoking, ... The French Way

What is possibly the final programme has now been published in the AJBS newsletter (a great idea by the way, with articles on key participants and suchlike).

The flying runs for nearly 6hrs, with some of the key displays being...

1344 - Hisso Bristol F2b, SPAD & Caudron GIII
1358 - Stinson Reliant, Bellanca Cruisemaster, Staggerwing, Laird Speedwing & Ryan SCW
1422 - Yak 3 x3 & Yak-11
1432 - Tora! Tora! Tora! set-piece with 12x T-6, P-40, N3N, PT-22 and Stearman
1510 - TFC's Gladiator
1518 - Atlantique, Alizé, Zéphyr, Paris, CAP-10 & 2x MS-733
1541 - C-160 demo
1640 - Rafale, Hunter & Sea Fury formation
1701 - 13x CAP formation
1721 - Vietnam set-piece with 2x Skyraider, 2x T-28 & Cessna Skymaster
1754 - Breguet XIV (!)
1807 - B777 & Patrouille de France (Sat. only)
1813 - Fokker DVII & Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter

There's some real class on that list. Lovely to see the Breguet XIV back, it's been some time since I last saw it.

59 mins for the C160 demo :). I assume the Rafale, Hunter and Sea Fury will display separately during that time leading up to the formation?

Nooo! They're just extracted timings for some of the main acts. There is much more in between!

The full programme in the newsletter is more up to date than the order on the LFA website, but the list at http://www.ajbs.fr/meeting/le-programme-du-meeting-2017-2/ should give you an idea of the full programme!
