JF 17 Thunder solo demo. Although I think they're more likely to send the Sherdils.
Re: Radom Air Show 2018 (100th Anniversary of Polish Air For
So, as I see, JF-17 is confirmed, but anyway, we are not 100% sure that will be final decision...
Re: Radom Air Show 2018 (100th Anniversary of Polish Air For
Does any know about the ticketing situation for Radom?
Thanks

Three years ago you could buy them in advance, having to print it yourself to present it at the entrance, but you could also pay at the boots some distance before reaching the fence.
A weather forecast is a forecast and just that

Gads - that is some bloody update!
Posting comments on an aviation-related chatroom, are ya? Looks like it an' all...

They must have a good chance of getting the Ukrainian Su27 flying display too which would mean a bumper line up of Soviet hardware [Mig21, Su22, Mig29, Su27]. Bulgaria could send a Su25 Frogfoot for static and Ukraine a static Su24 Fencer for a full line up. All have good political ties with Poland and are a short flight away.

Just like last year
14 countries have already confirmed their participation, organizers are still talking to the USAF and Royal Canadian Air Force.

Are they painting an F-16 or MiG29 in 100th anniversary scheme or do they have some inappropriately coloured stickers to apply?

Thought the Bulgarian Su25s had been withdrawn last December.

A quick search shows you are right. Disappointing as there can't be many more opportunities to see them fly.

WOW! Lovely support from Pakistan, plus another MiG-29! Can't wait to see the LanceR, but also really keeping my fingers crossed for the Ukrainian Flanker

Now I'm seriously tempted! What's it like getting to the show?

And don't forget to switch on your lights while driving. Three years ago at the 4aviation trip one van got a fine for not having.verreli wrote:jalfrezi wrote:Now I'm seriously tempted! What's it like getting to the show?

Re: Radom Air Show 2018 (100th Anniversary of Polish Air For
We are waiting aircrafts TBA from Ukraine... Last year, Su-24 solo display was "confirmed" for CIAF. After few week, it was removed. I know CIAF organizers love to lie about participants, but for sure there was some talks about Su-24. Who knows, maybe we can expect some Su-24 solo display beside Su-27 solo. Good political relations between Poland and Ukraine, it's 100 years, so... I like phantasy.
Also, Polish MiG-29 was at Zeltweg Airshow 2016, so i think we can maybe expect Typhoon display, together with Flying Bulls. Belgium probably F-16 with new painting. Germany - i don't have idea what they can send for flying display, maybe Typhoon again (Typhoon solo at Sion last year), and some helicopter, but Tornado would be win. Netherlands... Maybe some helicopter. No F-16 solo in last few years.
Another thing... We are still waiting US Air Force. Poland is probably the most loyal ally of US in Europe, so maybe F-35. Or even F-22 solo. But F-15 solo would be terrific update. Who knows...
Anyway, well done for Radom Airshow organizers. So far, very good job boys and girls!
Now, just to pray for good weather both days. (I just need good weather on Sunday. )

Re: Radom Air Show 2018 (100th Anniversary of Polish Air For
Hi everyone, seriously considering doing this show! I am 19yo and would be too young to hire a car in the country. How would I get from Warsaw airport to Radom? Is there any easy way or is it a case of public transport for a few hours?
Thanks
Harvey

First option is FlixBus ("Polski Bus"). You can book tickets online (they are available about 2 months before the trip, it's extremely cheap, for example: https://shop.flixbus.com/search?departu ... +set%29%2C). From airport you have to use public transport to get to the bus station that you chose (the most convenient are Metro Wilanowska and Centrum).
You can also travel to Radom by train. Tickets are available here: http://rozklad-pkp.pl/en Warszawa Służewiec railway station is the best station to choose, it's really close to the airport, you can go there on foot. I think it's possible to buy a ticket on board a train.

Okey doke, thank you very much, I’ll look into these options!
