Radom Air Show 2018 (100th Anniversary of Polish Air Force)

Any news yet regarding the arrangements for this years show. For example it was rumoured that Radom would only have a flying display and most static aircraft would be located at Deblin. Any official information available ?

No official information yet. However, they did recently update their logo and website for 2018 and said more information about tickets will come soon. So I can imagine more info about the static etc will also come soon.

There is big difference between "which has never performed [a flying display] in Poland" and "has never been seen before during the Air Show in Poland". "Seen"... It can be "seen" on static, not necessary flying display.

A Ukrainian Su.25UB (62 blue) was on the static at Radom 2011.
So a Frogfoot has been at Radom but not in the aerial display.

No, some people in Poland believe that USAF F-22 Raptor Demo Team will make debut in Radom but it's just hope.

Mr Crusher - any advice for us Radom newbies based on your past experiences re inside outside (outside seems favourite), practice days, queues, security checks or anything else!

There are four locations for spotters in Radom.

These two (Ogrodnicza Street and Lubelska Street) are the best for arrivals (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and departures (Monday).

Third is Skaryszewska Street. It's called "spotters' Mecca" in Poland Best place for trainings on Thursday and Friday. It's impossible to see full displays because of trees around.

On Saturday and on Sunday Skaryszewska St is closed. It's possible to get there by bus and on foot. If you use car you must choose this route:

Last location is inside the base. You have to face the sun, but it's worth to spend at least one day there.

Queues are generally short because security check is really fast. In the past it wasn't allowed to have your own food and water, but it changed last year, it shouldn't be a problem now. There are always so many people inside the base (about 100.000 each day) so you must be early if you want to have good position.
