Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
or French Air Force or Turkish Air Force or Royal Norwegian Air Force or Portuguese Air Force
Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
The Turks I think we can understand... shame about the Norwegians though, especially as they often have a nice special-scheme or two...

With pilots away on conversion training my guess would be that there's not enough pilots around to send a bunch of them away for a couple of weeks. That and the fact that the number of airworthy F-16s is rapidly dwindling.

BAF 31st Sqn just unveiled their new scheme on Facebook

Nice, I think prefer it to last years design.
Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
If you think that's good, wait until you see the RAF Puma's RAF100 sticker.

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
Its an impressive scheme, but I have to say I'm not a great fan of these odd coloured tigers. I prefer the tigers to look like tigers, our 2005 Puma for example.
Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
I'm usually not a fan either, but I quite liked this, although it looked better in the gloomy hangar than out in the sun
Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
I think that looks awesome!

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
Bit Over The Top!
Surely a tail-fin sticker featuring just a quarter of a Tiger head on a red background is sufficient?
A seriously good effort, once again.

Ahh so this is where all Germany's money goes? Much rather have this than high serviceability rates! Beautiful scheme!

No, they just don't drop any bombs. Just one storm shadow launched last night would pay for ten aircraft being painted...

It's like a soldier that doesn't fire a rifle... One Storm Shadow? Or a colour-by-numbers squadron? Tough choice.
Can we expect more schemes like this to be rolled out by the other participating nations?
Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
Has anyone heard anything from the spotters day registration? Sent an email yesterday which hasn't been responded to.
Starting to get a little twitchy about it.

Re: NATO Tiger Meet 2018
If, as is widely speculated, the RAF Puma is retired within the next year, could this be the last year the RAF has a tiger squadron?
