BBC Essex are talking about it yesterday afternoon so lets hope with any luck it will be true, just think of a Airbus A319 swooping up and down the seafront, it would not be the first airliner at Southend but would make an intresting edition to the programme.

The big question in Southend or Duxford on the Sunday, for me Southend 15min walk and totally free!

I work at the airport and the P-40 did a rather rousing display in honour of the opening of the terminal, over the field :)

A full display like we have had in the past from 757's and the Boeing 747 probably not, the cost of getting a single pilot/crew a DA would not be worth the layout how many other airshows would they display at, plus you would need to pull an aircraft from service, however a single flypast might be possible.

Would love to see it happen really would would be even better if they could get an AerArann to join in as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing the king air at southend. I have been really impressed with the displays in the past.

Are the Black cats flying as a duo or as a single like last year?

I do hope they bring 2. I was getting a bit bored with one at most of the southend shows.
