Tucanos will be at Lydd according to their display site. Shame as I guess he will arr/dep, from/to the east so won't get to shoot him low round Beachy Head, unless the pilot fancies a slight detour???
Had the display coloured Hawk doing some low runs under the murk along the seafront earlier. Still murky now with light rain.

it says on the web site

"There will be a Park n' View car park for the Airbourne weekend at the Dencher, Beachy Head (near the pub), with excellent views of flying displays over Eastbourne.
Toilets and refreshments available. Warren Hill pay and display, normal charges apply/Warren Hill Field and Dencher, £5 daily charge. We advise arriving early to avoid the traffic queues"

does this mean that Dencher and Warren Hill are two different places, if so which is the prefered photography position?

Sounds like the flying hasn't happened yet, fog by the sounds of it. The same problem at Shoeham as well.

Shoreham still covered in fog, let's hope it clears for the rest of the show.Forecast looks good but that sea mist in this area hangs around just off the coast and often just drifts onto the coast strip which unless the wind shifts or the sun burns it off it can cause problems.

Only thing heard but not seen today was a fast jet at around 15-00, which made a few passes. Not long after, the sun came out and all the clag cleared. Needs to do it a lot earlier tomorrow. Was quite misty in Eastbourne just before dark tonight. Noticed on Lydd webcam that it was sunny everytime I looked today and spoke to someone who had just been to Bexhill earlier this afternoon and sunny there also. Shoreham webcam looked very misty early this evening.
Some highlights from the display times that I have been told.
Friday
13-35 - Hawk
14-02 - King Air
14-12 - Mustang
14-37 - JP
14-47 - Tucano
15-00 - BBMF
15-39 - Army Lynx
16-01 - Me-109
16-13 - Chinook

Saturday
13-15 - Sea King
13-52 - Mustang
14-04 - Hunter
15-02 - BBMF
15-42 - Lynx
15-52 - Gnats
16-19 - JP
16-46 - Chinook
17-13 - Vulcan
17-23 - Tornado GR.4s
17-47 - ME-109 + Spitfire

Sunday
13-30 - Sea King
14-45 - BBMF
15-08 - Gnats
16-11 - Hawk
16-34 - Chinook
16-44 - Hunter
16-56 - JP
17-06 - Lynx
17-33 - GR.4s
17-57 - ME-109 + Spitfire.
There are others (wingwalkers, parachute teams etc). Just noticed I did not write down a time for the Hawk Saturday, so either not coming or I simply overlooked it. Subject to change of course. Nothing heard today on frequency 132.9, which has been in use for last two years, even when the fast jet was about but obviously there would not have been much to say!!

Just been down to the seafront near the bandstand. It's bright and warm but hazy out too sea. Can see a horizon, but not Hastings (13 miles) or the Sovereign light (7 miles). Cloud base 1700ft according to here: http://www.eastbourne.gov.uk/environment/weather/live/

Anyone have an idea what the car parking and roads are like at Beachy Head for viewing? I am going along to see the Vulcan tomorrow but have to get away for a family event asap after! Don't want to miss the Vulcan but can't afford to be sat in a car park or traffic for an hour after!! Hopefully all relatively easy to get out but any horror stories from past years? Thanks all.

I have not been for the last 2 years but I will be there tomorrow.

When I have been before it was not too bad getting away - not quick either, it was the A259 at East Dean/Friston that was slow, so I might try aiming for Polegate instead.

I should allow at least half an hour or leave a bit before the end.

Thanks for this - just what I needed! Looks like Vulcan then dash for the car missing the Tornado and Spitfire

Everything turned up tody plus the two GR.4s that I was not expecting.
Flying times given above from the programme were about half right, others were miles out.

The flying times for Friday posted on this thread is completely different from the times shown on the leaflet contained inside the air show programme. The two Tornados were listed on the leaflet but I was also surprised by their inclusion today. Apart from the non appearance of the Merlin (I assume it would have been a flyby only) the times on the leaflet went mostly according to plan.

If you purchased a souvenir programme and you go back tomorrow you will get a free leaflet of the days action. Do not forget your programme as you will need to show it to get the leaflet
