Cleethorpes 2013

Post by Roco »

Website says that this is on 27/28 July but no details.

Is this a free air show or is there usually a fee and what can you expect to see?

Autogyro solo display - both days
Tucano - 28th only now

They have a picture of a Chinook on their website but the show is not on the Chinooks calendar for 2013??

Apparently full line up to be revealed on the 24th...

ust been looking on the website (which may I say is a massive improvement to last years) and they have the Dutch Lion F16 as a background image. Is this a possibility or just wishful thinking. Looking forward to seeing what the show will be like this year

Yeah it is the biplane variant, will be nice to see as you don't often see them out of Duxford or Old Warden!

I remember when I was about 9-10, seeing an 'Su-26' being down to display at Waddington...and being convinced I'd be seeing a Flanker!

That, along with seeing the 'Blue Eagles' were down to display and assuming everyone's favourite US display team was making an appearance...the innocence of youth, eh?

I thought details were been released on 24 May? It says this on the website but there is no actual details on the website and I have received nothing via the newsletter.

It makes them look incompetent.

Me too they seem very poor at updating and giving out info. Last year they didn'nt post what was flying and the time it stated till the day before. The grimsby evening telegraph had an article about it the other week and they got the date wrong all very confusing.
