I believe it was Bill Ramsey flying yesterday.

Sean Maffet said it was Withers flying yesterday

nice non-sensationalist reporting from the Independent on line today (3 quotes rather than a link as requested elsewhere)

“She may perform a level break or a spiral dive,” he announced to the crowds waiting for the Cold War nuclear bomber to perform off the beach at Clacton-On-Sea.

"Low-level aerobatics is not usually a recipe for a long life, regardless of the type of aircraft.”

The Hawk jets of the Red Arrows dodged each other with just 6ft to spare at closing speeds of 800mph

biggest idiot I saw was the guy on a jetski right on the display line filming the aircraft (until he was moved on!).

Air Ambulance just started things off for today, now just waiting for the Reds.

Nice and sunny, few clouds around but nothing major at the moment. A lot less windy than yesterday.

Did it do a full display? Also those that were there yesterday what did you make of the Red Arrows display as I see on Facebook that some people thought the first part of the show was more out at sea then normal?

Cheers

James, the Mig did a very flat routine, none of the vertical maneuvers that saw last week at Bournemouth. Which meant the display was a lot closer which is no bad thing given the jets size, was very well flown.

Reds were very far out yesterday, further from the pier than usually are from main crowdline. Was back to what I would normally expect from them here today.

Same flat routine as yesterday, think was 1 topside in there a wing rock and rest undersides pulling away from crowd. Given the change though was well flown...going straight to Dunsfold now

What a way to finish, probably best Typhoon display I've seen all year!
