The Scottish International Airshow (Ayr seafront) 2017

Post by EGL »

So since I suggested it I've started a new thread here.

Strangely their web-site doesn't list confirmed acts, you've got to hunt through the News Articles and facebook to get a definite list so far

Confirmed so far (both does unless listed otherwise) :

BBMF (Spitfire/Hurricane/Lanc) - Saturday only
BBMF Lancaster - Sunday only
RAF Typhoon
RAF Falcons
RAF Tutor
RAFAT Red Arrows - Sunday only
Mig-15
Yak-3
BAF F-16
Royal Navy / Royal Marines Role Demonstration - Saturday only

Hi there EGL go on there website, go to Whats On and click on 'Find out More' which is below, once you do that it tells you

what is displaying the Saturday and Sunday, so I'm assuming this is what has been confirmed ?

Sorry - but not obvious enough for me. Didn't scroll down the page as I presumed all pages would be accessible from the menu. Would be much better if it was linked from the top menu-bar!

We are seriously thinking about both days. It may well depend on the weather forecast leading up to it.

So... no pressure but this airshow has to be better than today's effort. West coast, September... what could go wrong?! :lmao:

I'm the same as well!

I'm still undecided about attending the show this year, didn't go last year (glad I didn't though). I'll wait for more items added before making my final decision.
