Tall Ships on the Thames

Lots of people baking while waiting on Erith pier too. The ships weren't making much more than 2-3 knots and the first (Wylde Swan) did not pass the pier until around 12.30, some two hours after they'd left Tilbury. With the incoming tide they seemed to speed up a little past Erith and I caught them again at Thamesmead. No sign of any of them when I was at Greenwich later on, I assumed they'd been and gone as it took me a while to get there.

Last three - and most impressive of the lot - heading towards Woolwich after passing Thamesmead.

Nice picture there Damien, would be good to see if you or anyone got any more. The ships turned back at the Dome just out of site of anyone waiting a Greenwich

The Australian sailing vessel Charm Offence is heading up the Thames Estuary, currently off Shoeburyness.
