It isn't a case of facts not being racist, it's more that people go pale and weak kneed when the word is mentioned.

In the 80's, when the crime figures were released one year, they broke down the racial groups for certain crime types. Street Robbery (as opposed to bank type robbery) was almost exculsively committed by one racial group. TDA (TWOC to the rest of the country) was committed almost exclusively by another.

The loony left went bananas and accused the Met of racism. As a result of that, the ethnic groups stats were ommitted. A classic case of censorship. Butwas it racist to release the figures broken down that way? No, of course not. It was just no one had the bottle to say so. It's not the law that's wrong, it's peoples attitudes and fear of being labeled. That leads to the race card being played when there is clearly no racism, and in my opinion cases more problems than it solves.
