They would not have written that into the script of "2012" as it is so unbeilevable. How many years of planning and how many millions of our cash and they cant even get the basics right. Who the hell is running this thing? When you see things like this:

you realise that the World is watching. What must they think?

Unfortunate error but not as bad as this one. How can anyone forget the infamous Borat National Anthem of Kazahkstan

:lmao:
Edit: Seriously, the North Koreans must have been incensed and I know I wouldn't be happy if they played the Sex Pistols version of God Save The Queen at the Olympics :hide:

I would!

Sadly there seems to be section in the UK that will continually moan and criticize the Olympics no matter what. The organizers have come this far in staging one the largest sporting events this country has ever seen and it in some views it is now all a disaster because of one error with a flag.

Didnt say it was a disaster. But cock ups like this should rightly be criticised and the people responsible be held accountable. Cant see any reason why the organisers should be exempt from criticism.

I don't really see why all these teams should expect to have their nation's flag displayed anyway. It's not as if it's supposed to be some major international event anyway.

I'm sure they're suitably chastened by your comments.

Yet another cock up this evening, someone has given Jonathan Pearce and Mark Lawrenson the job of doing the commentary on the football. When will they learn :wall:

Just Bern to see Gloriana during my lunchbreak, only to find it arrived over half an hour early.

At 12:45 when it was supposed to arrive, it just drifted off downstream (with no flame).

Rather annoying they ballsed up the timings, hundreds of people on London Bridge were still waiting for it to go through.

If you needed to describe in two words what is wrong with British politics, "Jeremy Hunt" is the best I could come up with. But I digress.

Well just to keep the thread going, hundreds of spectators arrived at the archery seeding competition today at Lords to be told that the event was unticketed (as it was described on the website) and unticketed means that it is not open to the public, weird:

A minor cock-up for anybody not travelling in the same direction as myself, but I went to the opening ceremony to hopefully catch shots of the Reds' flypast - freeloading from the outside - but had to leave before the incredible fireworks as they hadn't laid on any late trains out of Victoria. I'm sure that a reasonable percentage of the 80,000 inside would have wanted to travel south to warrent an extra train or two.
