There's a grim video doing the rounds on social media, should you be so inclined to view it.

Naturally the slithering article Sadiq "Terrorism Is Part And Parcel Of Living In A Big City" Khan has quickly tweeted that London stands with Barcelona, redefining "mealy-mouthed".

We're so far past "standing together", Facebook avatars and candlelit vigils now. Words no longer suffice, as if they ever did.

If you go by most of the reports, last heard it's only 1 confirmed dead with around 32 injured.

Edited to add.....
BBC and others have now updated the reported casualty figures -- they now say 13 confirmed dead & at least 50 injured.

Everyone can clearly see the problem. What is far harder to come by is a solution. Until that day the depressing truth is terrorism is indeed a fact of life. We all wish it were not so but the best security in the world cannot stop every single attack. It's a sad indication of the times we live in most people now accept that. My condolences to those caught up in this latest act of barbarism
